Three parts
The Qreddi platform consists of three parts:
1. Software in the cloud
2. Hardware: a switch box
3. A user with smartphone
Practical example
A customer without a Qreddi account:
The customer enters a self-carwash, ticket machine, bread machine or laundromat and for the first time scans a code on the device he wants to use to pay without cash or credit card.
He is taken via his smartphone to an online registration page to create an account using his social media accounts. This happens immediately and he then obtains credit via the general payment method he’s already using (e.g. Payconiq, Bancontact, PayPal, Apple Pay and his bank’s app…).
He online has to do this once. No additional app needs to be downloaded. Everything is done via the smartphone and a website.
Practical example
A customer with a Qreddi account:
The customer scans the code of the washer or dryer he wants to use. He is directed to a website where he can enter any preferences. Meanwhile, the platform checks whether there is sufficient credit. If not, the customer is taken to the credit. If there is sufficient credit, the machine is switched on.
Nothing further needs to be done. Payment is made automatically.
Fantastic extra features
Qreddi is much more than just choosing a machine and starting it up.
Where can you find Qreddi machines?
Want to know whether there are Qreddi-equipped machines in your area or at a specific location? Simply consult you smartphone. You’ll receive a list of all businesses and the Qreddi-equipped machines present.
Machine free?
You want to use a machine somewhere, but is it available? You can also see that with your Qreddi account on your smartphone. So no need to maken unnecessary trips.
And you can also see from home how busy a place is. If (almost) all of the machines at a location are in use, you know it’s pretty busy.
Machine ready?
You’ve started a washing machine in a laundromat, but in the meantime you want to do something else, such as go shopping elsewhere.
Your smartphone tells you when the machine has stopped and the programme has ended. so you no longer need to wait next to the machine. How convenient is that?
Future developments
Qreddi development is not standing still.
For example, a reservation system is being planned for certain machines. Imagine this: you want to do your laundry somewhere tomorrow and you can already reserve a machine today.
This makes Qreddi unique!
The integration itself
For Qreddi there is one basic requirement: an internet connection.
Existing system:
We investigate whether Qreddi can be integrated into the existing system. If that’s not possible, we will bypass the current payment system and connect your devices to our switch box.
No existing system:
This is the easiest situation. All you need is one switch box that sits next to the modem and is connected to it. All machines – there is no maximum – are connected to this switch box.
Price
One-time installation cost depending on the situation.
As business owner, you only pay a free on transactions actually performed. Everything happens automatically.
